well he is going over parts of his body with white and filling it in with color
I’ve had part of a tattoo removed with “reverse tattooing” which is, if I understand correctly, a process that involves tattooing saline solution right over the tattoo to dilute the pigment and lighten it enough to do a coverup.
i would not recomend it. it also depends on how black it is. if its really black black, or if its grey. if its really deep black, the tattoo artist might recomend getting it lasered or lightened up. it also depends on what you want to cover it up with.
